2. Slide top half (with vertical slot cut into bottom) into bottom half (with vertical slot cut into top half.

Warning: Do not place your Festivus Pole base directly in contact with surfaces that are subject to scratching (i.e. bare wood floors or table tops). Protect these surfaces from damage with an appropriate buffer between the base and surface (i.e. mat, carpet, coasters, etc.)
 
Festivus Poles™ are designed to be viewed and admired. Use of your Festivus Pole for any purpose other than viewing and admiration are not to be attempted. The Festivus Pole and base are produced from aluminum -- known for it’s high strength-to-weight ratio. While this attribute makes aluminum an excellent medium for Festivus Poles™, it also makes these poles potentially hazardous if used in a manner for which they were not designed. Please make sure you and your guests are familiar with the Festivus Pole Dos and Don’ts

  • Use the Festivus Pole as a centerpiece at your Festivus celebration
  • Air grievances
  • Perform Feats of Strength -- but not with the Festivus Pole
  • Protect surfaces from direct contact with the Festivus Pole base.
 
Don't . . .
  • Climb your Festivus Pole
  • Dance on or from your Festivus Pole
  • Remove the Festivus Pole from it's base except for storage
  • Use the Festivus Pole for Feats of Strength
  • Place the Festivus Pole base directly onto bare tables or floor surfaces that are subject to scratching.
